SEL Energy Ltd. started it's initial activities in the year 1945, of trading of Electrical items.

As time went by, the need for further expansion was felt and in the year 1956, a small manufacturing base for Electrical Switchgears was started in Mumbai. Subsequently, in the year 1976, the Energy conservation devises viz : P.F. Capacitors were started. Further down, the entire base was shifted to Gujarat in 1986, with Registered Office at Mumbai.

       
 
     
 

SEL Energy Ltd. has popular brands namely "SAMRAT", "SAMCAP", "SAIF-EL" & "SEL" under which the Electrical Switchgears and Energy Conservation devises are manufactured and marketed.

Today the company is successfully managed by second and third generation entrepreneurs with a committed work force, including various professionals who manage the various activities of the company, and this has given a professional upliftment to the manufacturing and related activities of electrical and electronics products.

Today we not only sell in the Indian market but also cater to the various countries all over the globe.
